This is the first painting done by Carol Denmark with her cat Joey’s help. It is a watercolor on Yupo. The picture is of a pond with Koi in it , based on the Japanese tea garden in Philadelphia
About Carol DENMARK
Welcome to my web page. Although I discovered art at the age of 10 it took me a long time and two other careers to rediscover it. When my oldest daughter went away to college I became a docent at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA). I was leading a tour of the museum in one of the galleries when I discovered a class copying works of some of our greatest American artists right in front of the pictures. I knew then that I had found what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Carol Sack Denmark is a lawyer who is now an artist. She lives in the Philadelphia area. She has studied at many area art schools, received a certificate from PAFA (continuing education dept) in December 2012 and enjoys all types of painting in oil,...
